When we think of Hot Wheels peg hunting, we mostly think of places like Walmart, Target, Walgreens, etc.
But don’t forget that some grocery stores have Hot Wheels too. In one of my latest videos, I went to our local Albertsons to check out what diecast cars they had in stock.
As you will see in the video below, I did find a few nice ones. There were no treasure hunts, but they did have quite a few Hot Wheels in stock.
A lot of these were real nice, but there were 2 of them that really caught my eye. One was the Hot Wheels Volkswagen T2 pickup. This one is really sweet. It is green in color with a little rust looking paint added that gives it a vintage look.
On the side of this Volkswagen pickup, it has a decal that reads “Hot Wheels Hardware”. Really cool!
Another one that I found was, don’t laugh, a Hot Wheels Barbie ’14 Corvette Stingray in a pretty pink color. I had to get this one because the Barbie brand is so huge and I love Corvettes.
They only downside to finding Hot Wheels at the grocery store is that they are a little more expensive than the traditional big box stores. These Hot Wheels that I got here were $1.49.
But the way I see it is if it’s a Hot Wheel that you really want to add to your collection, price doesn’t matter.
